Mikail Akbulut graduated from İstanbul Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering, and completed his Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at the Institute of Science and Technology. He began his career at Turkish Technic in 2010 as an Avionics Maintenance Engineer in the Aircraft Maintenance Directorate.

He subsequently held various managerial positions including Narrow-Body Maintenance Manager, Cabin Maintenance Director, and Deputy General Manager responsible for Operations. As of May 2021, he was appointed as the General Manager and Executive Committee Member of Turkish Technic.

In March 2022, he was elected as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Turkish Nacelle Center, and in July 2023, he became a Member of the Board of Directors at Turkish Technic. Originally from Bayburt, Mr. Akbulut is married and has two children.
