Environmental Policy
As Turkish Technic, our primary goal is to protect the “environment” and “natural resources”, which are the common assets and rights of all living things, by adopting an environmental culture while conducting our activities. In this regard, we, as the senior management, have undertaken to determine our principles and disseminate them to all our stakeholders.
Legal Liability
Being aware of our legal responsibilities within the scope of legal legislation and international standards, we are committed to reaching beyond them. We aim to be an organization that is in harmony with the environment, continuously develops and improves itself and its suppliers, and follows up on changes and makes the necessary arrangements.
Environmental Dimensions
We identify environmental aspects such as air, water and soil pollution that arise or are likely to arise as a result of our activities and plan actions to eliminate, reduce and avert these impacts at the source, if possible. We undertake to ensure the continuity of improvement-oriented management systems and methods to keep important environmental aspects under control.
Environmental Impacts
We prioritize environmental protection in our activities and conduct studies to reduce and eliminate factors that may negatively impact the environment and climate change.
We aim to prevent environmental pollution by increasing reuse and recycling opportunities with a zero-waste approach to minimize the environmental impact of waste generated from our operations. We regularly monitor and report our greenhouse gas emissions and share the results with all our stakeholders. We develop action plans by taking the necessary measures to reduce our emissions and ensure energy efficiency. Considering the environmental impact of products and services, we support sustainable products and services and prioritize the preference of these products and services whenever possible.
We undertake to protect the richness of natural life, genetic diversity, and the integrity of ecosystems.
Resource Management
Recognizing that the natural resources we use in the scope of our activities are limited, we establish quality management systems, set quantitative targets, and conduct studies to measure performance in order to use them effectively and efficiently.
We undertake that we will ensure the creation of the necessary infrastructure for the protection of all resources, especially water, increasing energy efficiency, and reducing their consumption, and that we will support projects and practices developed in this regard.
Human and Environment
While conducting our activities and planning new investments, we adopt sustainable growth strategies to leave a better world for future generations. In all processes, we aim to eliminate potential negative impacts on the environment and people by identifying environmental risks, the environmental dimensions and life cycles, which these risks may create. In this context, we prefer to construct ecological buildings, use bio-based products and renewable energy sources. We develop preventive actions by conducting necessary studies on greenhouse gas emissions, chemical use, and carbon reduction.
We commit to contributing to the protection of nature, ecological balance and biodiversity.
Stakeholders
We work to increase environmental awareness and consciousness and provide environmental training to our employees.
By adopting the principle of developing while improving, we commit to sharing our good practices on environmental issues with all our stakeholders, establishing multidirectional communication with everyone, including all employees, suppliers, customers, and those who may be affected during the working process, within the scope of environmental protection and encouraging their participation.
Continuous Improvement
We aim to protect natural resources and leave a more sustainable world to future generations by ensuring that necessary actions are taken to monitor and improve environmental performance in all our activities and that systems are established to collect national and international feedback. We evaluate the medium and long-term targets that we have set in this context on an annual basis.
To ensure the continuous improvement of the environmental management system, we undertake to review our policy at least once a year in the context of the needs and make the necessary updates.
