Pegasus Airlines signs Aircraft Maintenance Agreement with TURKISH TECHNIC for one B737NG
Pegasus Airlines signed Base Maintenance Services Agreement with TURKISH TECHNIC for 4 Boeing 737-800 C-Check. Maintenance will be carried out at TURKISH TECHNIC’s facilities in Istanbul, within the fourth quarter of 2011 and first quarter of 2012.
TURKISH TECHNIC, an association of TURKISH AIRLINES group companies (Istanbul Stock Exchange: THYAO), provides MRO services for Boeing and Airbus airframes, engines, auxiliary power units, landing gear and components. The company serves more than 100 airlines in Europe, the Middle East, Northern Africa, Turkey and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) with its maintenance bases in Istanbul & Ankara and highly qualified workforce of more than 3,000 personnel.
Pegasus Airlines, based in Istanbul and using Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport (SAW/ Turkey) operates 29 B737NG’s and 3 B737CL’s in its fleet, also has 40 B737NG firm order from Boeing 24 already delivered.
